Newsroom brief

Meeza completed a 4MW Qatar data-centre expansion for an unnamed global hyperscaler nine months ahead of schedule, Data Center Dynamics reported. The project follows a QAR 350 million ($96m) hosting agreement signed in July 2025 for more than a decade of capacity, but the customer remains undisclosed.

A 4MW Qatar data-centre expansion for an unnamed global hyperscaler has been completed nine months ahead of schedule, according to Data Center Dynamics.

The project marks an early delivery milestone for Meeza under a hosting agreement where the customer name remains outside the public record.

Data Center Dynamics reported that the expansion follows a July 2025 hosting agreement under which Meeza agreed to provide 4MW of capacity at its facilities for more than a decade.

The agreement was valued at QAR 350 million ($96m).

Meeza Says The 4MW Capacity Was Delivered Early

Meeza said the early delivery would allow the customer to accelerate the rollout of cloud and digital services.

Mohamed Ali Al-Ghaithani, Meeza's chief executive, said the project was completed nine months early and described the customer as a global technology leader.

Al-Ghaithani linked the investment to demand for cloud services, artificial intelligence and high-performance computing.

He also said Meeza would continue investing in digital infrastructure tied to Qatar's Digital Agenda 2030.

QAR 350 Million Agreement Runs For More Than A Decade

The Qatar hyperscaler hosting agreement named a specific capacity, value and duration.

Data Center Dynamics reported that the July 2025 deal covered 4MW of capacity, QAR 350 million ($96m) in value and a term of more than a decade.

The report also cited another Meeza hosting agreement signed last October with an undisclosed global hyperscaler.

That separate deal covered 6MW of capacity and was valued at more than QAR 750 million ($205m).

Meeza Has Five Data Centres In Qatar

Meeza operates five data centres in Qatar, according to the Data Center Dynamics report.

Data Center Dynamics reported that Meeza's fifth facility, M-VAULT 5, is located in Qatar Science and Technology Park in Doha and was launched in 2022, one year after the M-VAULT 4 facility opened in the same technology park.

Data Center Dynamics reported that Meeza completed an IPO in 2023 after floating 50 percent of its issued share capital on the Qatar Stock Exchange.

The report did not name the hyperscaler customer, identify the exact facility used for the 4MW expansion, disclose deployment dates for the customer's services, or give facility-level utilisation data.
