Nvidia Names $500 Billion US AI Infrastructure Plan But Leaves Timing Open
Nvidia says it and partners including TSMC, Foxconn, Wistron, Corning, Lumentum, Coherent and Amkor plan up to $500 billion of US AI infrastructure production. The account comes from Nvidia's own company blog; it names factories, suppliers and job figures, but gives no full production timetable for the programme.

Nvidia Lists US Partners For AI Infrastructure Buildout
Nvidia says it and its partners are investing in US manufacturing, supply chains, energy grids and skilled workforces to produce AI infrastructure in the United States.
The account comes from Nvidia's own company blog and partner material; it does not include independent production audits, customer allocation records, grid-connection filings or an audited job-creation methodology.
The company says its US partner and supplier network now spans 43 states.
Nvidia names semiconductors, boards, systems, racks, power systems, cooling and cloud capacity as parts of the physical stack behind AI deployment.
Nvidia says Blackwell chip manufacturing and testing are under way at TSMC's Phoenix facility in Arizona.
It also says AI supercomputer manufacturing plants are planned with Foxconn in Houston and Wistron in Dallas.
Blackwell And AI Factories Carry The Largest Number
Nvidia says it plans to produce up to $500 billion of AI infrastructure in the US with partners including TSMC, Foxconn, Wistron, Corning, Lumentum, Coherent and Amkor.
The company's manufacturing frame covers three factory types: semiconductor fabs, electronics manufacturing plants and AI factories that create model outputs and applications from raw data.
Nvidia cited Public First estimates that Nvidia-driven AI demand will contribute $485 billion to US GDP in 2026 and support more than 100,000 jobs.
Those economic figures come from Nvidia's cited material and should be read as company-supported estimates rather than audited public-market results.
Texas And Optics Suppliers Anchor The Map
Nvidia points to several named sites and suppliers.
Nvidia says Coherent broke ground in Sherman, Texas, on an expanded facility for 6-inch indium phosphide production, with a project expected to create 1,000 jobs.
Nvidia says Corning is expanding US manufacturing of advanced optical connectivity in North Carolina and Texas, with more than 3,000 jobs attached to the facilities.
Nvidia says Lumentum is also working with the company on US optics manufacturing and research and development.
Nvidia says Foxconn is building a Houston factory for Nvidia AI systems, including GB300 tray modules.
Nvidia says Wistron is due to assemble and test Nvidia AI systems at a Fort Worth facility designed first as a digital twin.
Nvidia also points to Digital Realty's Manassas, Virginia, AI factory blueprint as a replicable design built with US suppliers across the stack.
Power And Cooling Claims Still Need Project Detail
Nvidia also names power, cooling and data-centre partners, including Digital Realty, Caterpillar, Vertiv, Schneider Electric, Eaton, Jacobs, Siemens, Trane Technologies and GE Vernova.
The company says the Rubin generation of Nvidia AI infrastructure is the first to reach 100% liquid cooling.
It also says Nvidia and Emerald AI are working with energy companies on flexible data centres that can adjust electricity use in response to grid conditions.
Nvidia did not disclose a complete site-by-site production timetable, total committed capital by partner, grid-connection dates, water-use figures, customer allocation volumes or audited job-creation methodology for the $500 billion US AI infrastructure plan.
